We pay attention to people’s most obvious features and categorize them according to those features. Since being a woman/man is at the top of this list of obvious features, we develop certain forms regarding the people we see as man/woman. So, at that point, ufortunately, sex and gender concepts are confused. “Sex” is the concept of the human body (e.g: man or woman). A human being’s external sexual organ is observed at the time of birth and is classified as female or male. On the other hand, a person’s “gender” is the sexual identitiy depending on that persons own orientation. But, from a traditional point of view, gender is accepted and perceived as the set of behaviours depending on femininity or masculinity roles and preferences.
